The Spencer Speedway Car Show is from Thursday, April 24-Saturday, April 26 at the Mall at Greece Ridge, 271 Greece Ridge Center Dr., Rochester, NY 14626 (town of Greece) during mall hours of 10 am-9:30 pm. 30 cars including both the stock and drags will be on display. Saturday, April 26 is "Meet the Drivers and Media Day". It's another Dan Hall Production!

The Cup Lites #21/Unforgiven Motorsports Annual Benefit has been scheduled for Saturday, April 26 from 3-7 PM at the IV Stallions Sports Bar, 2912 William St., Cheektowaga, NY. Tickets for this gala event are still only $20.00. The bar is located just minutes from the NYS Thruway at Exit 52A on William St. This benefit is the prelude to Mr. D.B. Spalti's "Last Gasp" Tour and run for the championship. After this season, Mr. Spalti has announced plans to retire from racing all together and pursue the many other interests in his life. This is one of the final opportunities to have food, drink and merriment along with the chance to frolic with the ladies and the other racers. Wish Mr. D. B. Spalti best of luck in his final run.

The Dave Tedesco #44 Dunn Tire (Lancaster) SST Sportsman Racing Party is on Sunday, April 27 at the Garden Park Cafe, 3525 Genesee St. (corner of Union Rd.), Cheektowaga, NY 14225 starting at 1 pm. Tickets are $20.00 each and include food and beer; tickets are available at the door or by calling (716) 225-6270. There will be door prizes, giveaways and a Chinese auction.

The Todd Smith #52 Spencer Modified/6th Annual Smith Racing Kickoff Party is on Sunday, April 27 from 2-6pm at the Henrietta Fire Company 1, 3199 E. Henrietta Rd. (just south of Lehigh Station Rd. and also about 1 mile south of the Dome Arena/Expo Center) in Henrietta. We will have the NASCAR Sprint Cup Talledega race on t.v. Your $17 ticket will will get you an all you can eat buffet and beer plus qualify you for a chance for an overnight stay. We will have plenty of other door prizes and giveaways. Also on tap is the second annual tire changing competition. Get your five man or woman team together and see how fast you can change two tires. Come out and support the team!!

The third edition of the Saratoga Automobile Museum’s Lost Speedways Series is set for 1 pm on Sunday, April 27 with memorabilia on display beginning at noon. It's located at the Saratoga (NY) Spa State Park: Turn LEFT onto the Avenue of the Pines. Follow the avenue through the park for approximately one mile. The museum is on your left in the building marked "Bottling Plant." First-time presenters will include Andy Fusco discussing roadster racing at Perth Speedway, Mark Supley recalling the history of flat-track motorcycle racing in the area and Roger Miller with a look at the history of racing in Dutchess County. Historian Les King will recall the glory days of Empire Raceway and the Altamont Fairgrounds along with a look back at tracks in Warrensburg, Corinth, Granville, Schuylerville and Wilton. Ken Gypson will talk about the tracks "East of Troy" and Bill Ladabouche will highlight tracks along the Vermont/NY border. Memorabilia and photographs from the collections of Dan Ody, John Grady and noted Pennsylvania photographer Ray Masser, highlighted by shots of the treacherous Langhorne mile, Reading and Allentown will be on display as well. Visitors are encouraged to bring their treasures to share.

The Cup Lites Racing Series Awards Banquet is on Saturday, May 3 at McKinley's Banquet Center in Blasdell, NY from 7pm-1am. Tickets are $60 per person which include an open bar, dinner, awards and entertainment. The Holland Speedway Car Show is at the McKinley Mall from Saturday, May 3 through Saturday, May 10 during mall hours of 10am-9pm.
