ED SULLIVAN CAPTURES SCHOOL BUS FIGURE 8 RACE AT HOLLAND "CRASH-A-RAMA"
A three-wide lap pass for the lead proved to be the move of the race for Ed Sullivan, as the Buffalo, NY driver raced on to the victory in the full-sized school bus Figure 8 race, the featured event in "Crash-A-Rama, Round 2" at Holland Speedway on Saturday evening. Sullivan squeezed by early race leader Tommy Galston and a lapped bus on the 6th circuit, and held off the challenges of Jason Adams for the victory.

JASON KLINE CAPTURES 50 LAP HOLLAND PRO MODIFIED SPECIALWheeling a car he had just picked up earlier in the week, Jason Kline, the racing high school coach from Holland, NY, scored his first win of the 2005 season, scoring the victory in the 50 lap special for the Pro Modifieds at Holland Speedway on Saturday evening. In other Holland action, Tim Welshans of West Falls, NY used lapped traffic to make a final turn pass and notch his first win of the season in the Charger main, Brian Porebski of Hamburg, NY raced to his sixth win of the year in the Pro Four event, and "Big Dave" Zimmer earned his first of the year in the Figure 8 Car event.

MARK BLISS, STEVE KREITZBENDER EACH TAKE SIXTH HOLLAND VICTORIES OF SEASON ON SATURDAYMark Bliss of Arcade, NY and Steve Kreitzbender of Springville, NY stayed on top of their respective divisions' points chases, as each notched victory number six of the season at Holland Speedway on Saturday evening. Bliss motored to the win in the NASCAR Sunoco Late Model Pro Stock main, while Kreitzbender tallied the top spot in the Pro Modified go.

In Round 2 of Holland Speedway's Wild and Wacky
Wednesday Series, Pat Spruce of Cattaraugus, NY captured his
second 8-cylinder strictly stock Challenger event of the season,
Brian Porebski of Hamburg, NY notched win number three in the Pro Four main, and Jesse Hartloff of Forestville, NY was victorious in the feature race for the WNY Mini Cups.

NEIL HOPKINS DOUBLES HIS PLEASURE AT HOLLAND SPEEDWAY ON SATURDAY EVENING
Neil Hopkins has experienced the thrill of a race
win at Holland Speedway many times in the past, but on Saturday
evening, he discovered that two wins can be twice as nice, as
the West Falls, NY driver swept the victories in both the
Upstate Automotive 50 for the NASCAR Sunoco Late Model Pro
Stocks and in the regularly scheduled 35 lap Pro Modified main.
The Late Model win was a career first for Hopkins.
