put on yet another exciting night of racing. 2, 160 fans filled the
stands at Lake Erie Speedway the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series events
featuring twin 35 lap Plyler Overhead
Door Late Model features, Dodge Trucks,
Bandoleros, Advance Auto Part Super Stocks and

HODDICK CAPTURES 75-LAP LATE MODEL SEASON FINALE; SOMMERS CLINCHES CHAMPIONSHIP
Lake Erie Speedway crowned its first division champion of the 2005 season as the Plyler Overhead Door Late Models wrapped up their season with a special 75-lap season championship special.
Todd Hoddick started on the outside pole and led from the drop of the green flag. The race went caution-free for the first 16 laps with Hoddick stretching out his lead to almost a full straightaway over pole sitter Mike Hennessey. Mark Bliss, Will Thomas, and George Skora, III would make up the rest of the top five early on.

HODDICK PICKS UP FIFTH WIN BY
NARROWEST OF MARGINS
Todd Hoddick and Jay
Sommers added another chapter in their season long rivalry at Lake Erie
Speedway with another down to the wire finish in the Plyler Overhead Door
Late Models. Hoddick and Sommers battled side by the side in the final laps
with Hoddick taking the win by .024 seconds.

KRAWCZYK WIN TUESDAY NIGHT SPECIAL AT LES
While rain has interfered with the last two
Friday night NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series racing programs at Lake Erie
Speedway, a cool but clear evening was on tap for a special Tuesday night
event to help make up for some of the lost races. The Plyler Overhead Door
Late Models, Dodge Trucks, and Advance Auto Parts completed their features
from the rain shortened August 12 program while the Pepsi Legends started
fresh with heats and feature. The SST Modified Series was also in
attendance for the third time this year for a special bonus point race.

JAY SOMMERS BAGS THIRD WIN IN FRONT OF RECORD CROWD AT LES
The record-breaking season continues at Lake Erie Speedway with the latest the single race attendance record becoming the most recent one to fall. The record of 9,209 set last year during Race of Champions night was smashed as 9,386 came through the gates for Kids Night at LES. The fans were treated to another quick and exciting show with all six divisions of racing being wrapped up in a little more than two hours.

SOMMERS GETS SECOND LATE MODEL WIN; RADER WINS 50-LAP LEGENDS
There were fireworks in the air and on the track on Fourth of July weekend at the Lake Erie Speedway. The NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series kicked off the month of July with a special 50-lap feature for the Pepsi Legends, the second annual Faster Pastor race, and another exciting Friday Night Tri-State Showdown with the Plyler Overhead Door Late Models.

CHASING DOWN ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP
LAKE ERIETodd Hoddick, driver of the #99 Monte Carlo Late Model, finished off the 2004 season in no better fashion than by claiming the track championship at Lake Erie Speedway in Pennsylvania and by winning the last race of the year at Wyoming International Speedway. The track title gives him a championship at three different race tracks and his final win gave him at least one victory at three different tracks for a combined 11 wins in the 2004 season. The accolades do not end there for the talented young driver. Todd was also named the Northeast’s Winningest Asphalt Late Model Driver of 2004 by Area Auto Racing News, and he finished third in the National Valvoline Cup among registered Paved Late Model Drivers.
