Wyoming County International Speedway
It originally was constructed in 1959 and opened as a dirt track (Perry Speedway) in 1960. In 1968 the track was paved, and then the concrete retaining wall was constructed in 1978. June, 1985 saw the macadam covered with a layer of dirt for a time period of 12 years until the pavement returned in October of 1997. In 1998, under new ownership, WCIS returned back to the highly competitive SST asphalt racing surface.
